If you are lucky enough to live in a place where the sun shines year-round and you are still wearing shorts, consider yourself very lucky.  For most of us, winter means it is cold -- sometimes very cold.

When you and your family need to warm up after sledding or playing in the snow, or if you have been stuck indoors for days, and need a little pick-me-up, these vegan and gluten-free soups can come to the rescue!

  1. Your soups really do look like they would be the perfect antidote to a blustery cold day. I'm especially attracted to the butternut squash soup.

    1. Thanks, Andrea! The butternut squash soup might not be much to look at, but it has great flavors and if you make the squash in your slow cooker, it could not be easier!
