It does contain safflour oil which is a source of omega 6 fatty acids; although, the other 3 oils that are blended to make this product have a favorable ratio or omega 3:omega 6. There is no coconut oil used in this product. I will contact the company and see if they can quantify the total Kim Lutzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01304739799254986043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103680775255651318.post-27523743158446661612009-12-14T20:00:50.216-08:002009-12-14T20:00:50.216-08:00i literally jumped up and down when i saw this pro...i literally jumped up and down when i saw this product on the shelf. my dairy/soy/corn/wheat sensitive child could finally have "butter"! after much hoopla at our house we presented our son with a pancake with "butter" and his response after a bite was "i don't like butter." hysterical. we are putting it in lots of recipes though. thanks for the blog, i'll Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103680775255651318.post-39543102682089184632009-12-14T18:23:50.043-08:002009-12-14T18:23:50.043-08:00I just looked at the package (from my fridge, natu...I just looked at the package (from my fridge, naturally), and it promotes that it is a good source of Omega-3s, but does not mention Omega-6. I hope that's helpful! Also, if you don't need your foods to be gluten-free, you can always substitute flour made from wheat for the GF flours that we use. Just be sure to omit any xanthan gum if you're using wheat flour.Kim Lutzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01304739799254986043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103680775255651318.post-55096893750164056062009-12-14T18:03:47.733-08:002009-12-14T18:03:47.733-08:00Hi, nice blog! One question I have about this spread (which you may or may not be able to answer) since I am concerned more so with the inflammatory properties of the foods I eat - does this contain Omega 6's? I know that coconut oil is full of it, which is why I'm hesitant to use it in anything but the tiniest of Baby John's Cribhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02232385839855806594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103680775255651318.post-84221131792833529692009-12-11T09:02:18.378-08:002009-12-11T09:02:18.378-08:00we enjoyed your post i really like real butter but...we enjoyed your post i really like real butter but i think i will give this a try thank you for the heads upeconomy nowhttp://useconomynow.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103680775255651318.post-18026613832437235902009-12-11T06:15:25.440-08:002009-12-11T06:15:25.440-08:00We do, too.
